Digital Radiographs

An essential component to a thorough examination!

Digital Radiographs

Digital radiographs are used in place of traditional "x-rays" to capture an image of your teeth and mouth using a digital sensor instead of film.  These radiographs provide an instantaneous high-quality diagnostic image on our computer screen while using up to 90% less radiation.  Digital radiographs are used to diagnose and monitor disease of the teeth, bones, and gums.

Radiographs are an essential component to a thorough examination-- while often not necessary at every visit, check-up radiographs, known as "bite wings" should be updated yearly.
