A PICTURE PERFECT SMILE WITH
Complete and Partial Dentures
A complete denture involves replacing an entire arch of missing teeth with an acrylic appliance that looks like teeth and can be worn and removed by the patient. For optimal results, we recommend waiting 2-4 months for healing after extraction of existing teeth before creating a new denture. During the healing period, temporary or "interim" dentures can be created and worn.
Similar to a complete denture, a partial denture involves replacing one or more missing teeth with an appliance that can be worn and removed by the patient. Several types of partial dentures exist, with the main difference being the type of material that each is made from. As every case and patient is unique, Dr. Ogburn would love to discuss with you which type would work best for you!
