Dr. Sarah Ogburn, DMD
Dr. Ogburn strives to provide patient-centered, high-quality dental care to all. She believes that kindness and communication are the cornerstones of a successful doctor/patient relationship and she focuses on these principles with every smile she touches. Dr. Ogburn grew up in Midway, PA and currently resides in Hickory, PA with her husband and four children. She earned both her B.S. in Neuroscience and her D.M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of the office, Dr. Ogburn enjoys baking (and eating) sweet treats with the team and her family.
Dr. Aleksa Basina, DMD
Dr. Basina seeks to provide the highest quality of dental care while maximizing patient ease and comfort. She understands that going to the dentist can sometimes be quite scary or intimidating, and she strives to create an environment that both educates and empowers her patients in order to ensure that they have the best possible dental experience. Dr. Basina is originally from Belarus and speaks Russian fluently. She grew up in the New York / New Jersey area before moving to Pittsburgh, and is now very happy to call it home! She has had aspirations of joining the dental profession from a very young age as both of her parents are dentists as well. She earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry followed by her D.M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Basina enjoys traveling the globe, eating her way through every sushi restaurant in Pittsburgh, and most of all – all of the warmth and kindness that all of her patients and coworkers have showered her with since she’s become a part of the Cherry Valley Smiles family
Michelle Salvini, Registered Dental Assistant
Michelle is one of our skilled and knowledgeable dental assistants at Cherry Valley Smiles, with over 25 years of experience working in the dental field. She takes great pride in providing patients a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Going to the dentist can be very stressful and she strives to make my patients feel at ease during their visits. What she enjoys the most is the relationships she has formed and continues to form with her coworkers and patients. Michelle says, “We are like family, we support each other personally and professionally”. Michelle’s leisure activities include spending time with family/friends, reading, and shopping at Hobby Lobby.
Sarah Bayardi, Dental Hygienist
Sarah is one of our hygienists. She lives in Colliers, WV with her husband and two little boys. Sarah grew up in Washington, PA and graduated from Trinity High School. She attended West Liberty University, where her Dental Hygiene degree. Sarah enjoys baking and sleeping in.
Becky Cassella, Dental Hygienist
Becky earned her BA in dental hygiene from West Liberty University. Over the past 22 years, she has worked in various offices, including pediatrics and periodontics. Becky is a life-long learner and continues to study by attending different courses every year. In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her son and daughter and her furry BFF Buddy. She loves to be outdoors doing activities such as hiking, camping, and gardening.
